Parking in highland park is 50 cents per hour at meters on street and in lots on both sides of Figueroa. Park for free in residential area 2 blocks away. The lights are slow and the area is busy so give yourself extra time to park. It is LA, there will be traffic. Please arrive ON TIME not early or late.
Before treatment: Drink lots of water, avoid caffeine and alcohol, get a good night’s rest.

At time of treatment; please arrive without makeup, sunscreen, or skin products. Apply lidocaine before appointment for 30-60 min with plastic wrap.

Women have hair on their face! We are covered in vellus hair. I do not subscribe to the idea that we are supposed to be hairless. My goal is remove the coarse and hormonally triggered hairs and help you feel comfortable in your skin.
How many treatments will it take?
There is no one size fits all. There is no secret setting that magically works. An electrologist has to work regularly on your skin at a level you can tolerate, clearing the hairs until they are gone.
There are 4 stages of hair growth: Anagen, Catagen, Telogen, and Latent (dormancy). For best results we want to treat in anagen, active growing phase. This means treating all hairs every 4 weeks ideally.
If you have PCOS, thyroid, or other hormonal health issue laser may trigger more hair from chest up. Laser is still a good option for lower part of body but electrolysis is best treatment for face, neck, and upper chest.
A human has 1000-2000+ hairs per square inch on the face. They are all growing in different phases and speeds and are affected by your age, health, etc. There are no shortcuts except consistent treatments.
